Taipei, June 14, 2007 - For the 10^th years, GIGABYTE has acquired Taiwan Excellent Awards for all its 15 entries, maintaining a perfect 100% winning record. GIGABYTE has set a unique winning record among IT leading brands in Taiwan and again demonstrates its high quality.

Taiwan Excellence Award executed by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) has become Asia's most prestigious recognition that heralds Taiwan's most well designed, most innovative and highest quality products. Participating products have to demonstrate superior performance in R&D and Design Innovation, Quality System and Marketing to pass the securitization of the panel of judges constitute of a group of industry experts. The award result this year not only shows the strength of GIGABYTE products but also proves its role as a market leading brand, setting an unmatched record among all competing companies in the IT industry.

The 15th Taiwan Excellence Award had received 487 entries with 26 products nominated for Taiwan Excellence Gold Awards. Among these 26 entries, GIGABYTE is honored to have both HDTV PDA Phone GSmart t600 and PDA Phone GSmart i120 nominated for Taiwan Excellence Gold Awards, competing for NT$500,000 winning prize. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in early July to grant Taiwan Excellence Gold and Silver Awards as well as other special prizes.
